2008 Shoot Scores

Due to the fact that most shooters are not willing to wait around for their pins, we are going

to try a new system this year.  We are going to use cumulative scoring for the entire season. 

We will record your scores each month and keep a running total.  If you can't make a shoot,

you will get a score one point lower than the lowest score posted for your division that month. 

The same will apply to anyone who does not turn in a scorecard.  If you are the only shooter in

your division you will receive one point less than your lowest score.

Example:

 

If you don't shoot in February and your division's lowest score for February is 256 you will receive

a score of 255.  This will work as a handicap to determine your overall placement at the end of the year.

For the final shoot of the year the top four shooters in each division will be grouped together.  At the end of the

season your ranking will be based upon the total aggregate score for the year.  Plaques will be awarded based

upon aggregate scores for each division. 

The more you shoot, the better your chance of posting a high aggregate score will be.

Traditional shooters have been split into Recurve and Longbow divisions due to the fact that some shooters are shooting both

If your monthly score shows as NS it is because we did not receive a score card. If you are

shown in the wrong division, your score is incorrect, or your name is spelled incorrectly,

it is because your scorecard and/or the sign-in sheet were illegible/incorrect. You may contact the webmaster

at webmaster@saltgrass.org to make corrections. If you shoot in two different divisions we will score

each division per the guidelines above.
